Professional Learning Day 2024
On Saturday, April 20, we were proud to host nearly 250 educators from across the state for the 8th Annual Horizons Atlanta Professional Learning Day!
Hosted for the first time on the campus of Kennesaw State University, one of our host institutions, Teachers, Site Directors, Reading Specialists, Program Coordinators and more joined us to kick-off Summer 2024. During our time together, we focused on building community across our 11 Horizons Atlanta sites, making connections with our colleagues, and most importantly showing our appreciation of educators and our LOVE for Horizons!
Professional Learning Day is a key part of our commitment to supporting the high-quality training and professional development of the educators who commit their summers to working at Horizons Atlanta. We are grateful for their commitment to our mission.
